Hey there! The volume of Letterboxes in Connecticut just blows my
mind. I am going to be visiting a friend in Danbury. Could someone
out there help me to narrow down the search? Which boxes are closest
to Danbury---Or maybe even any that are over the State line into NY?
(I am flying in and out of White Plains, NY)
We didn't want to drive all over the state and were hoping that there
would be a few in our "backyard" so to speak!
Thanks,
Amanda from Seattle

Unfortunately, the very-western side of CT is still a little sparse
as far as letterboxes go. The Mile of Ledges hike is well worth the
time to drive to Burlington/Bristol (maybe 1/2 to 3/4 hour+- from
Danbury?) this natural landscape is "very Connecticut." The Fish Head
series & Thrill Ride aren't far from Mile of Ledges.
We've had an eye on a few parks 'out west,'(CT) but haven't had the
chance to pursue them yet. If you'd like to plant a box, I'd be happy
to check into it once in a while and mail you back it's logbook
whenever it gets full. :)

Thanks for the Info. If I plant a box while I am in Danbury, I will
be sure to let everyone know!
